Coca-Cola Donated Almost 1.2 Million Kuna to Help Earthquake-Affected Areas

Representatives of Coca-Cola in Croatia presented, along with product donations, a monetary donation of one million HRK to the Croatian Red Cross in Glina yesterday to support the community after the devastating earthquake that hit Glina, Petrinja, Sisak, and surrounding areas.

The valuable donation was realized with the support of The Coca-Cola Foundation. This is part of the total donations in 2020 and 2021, which amounts to more than 3.5 million HRK aimed at activities related to the COVID-19 pandemic and assistance to people affected by last year’s earthquakes in Zagreb.

“The needs of people in the earthquake-affected areas are extremely high and as we’ve been saying since the beginning, the operation will go on for some time. That is why it is extremely important that there are companies like Coca-Cola that are aware that the people of Sisak-Moslavina County need long-term help. I want to thank Coca-Cola, which provides support to the Croatian Red Cross, i.e. to those affected, in every crisis. Those of us who meet people here every day know how much this help means,” said Robert Markt, Executive President of the Croatian Red Cross.
