Erste banka decided to donate HRK 1 million to the Dr Fran Mihaljević Clinic for Infectious Diseases to help purchase the medical equipment needed in this situation when extensive efforts are taken to control the spreading of the coronavirus epidemic.

Erste Card Club donated another HRK 300,000 to the Children’s Clinic Zagreb on Klaićeva street to help repair material damage caused by the earthquake that hit Zagreb on 22 March this year.

“The seriousness and the complexity of the situation we are currently in requires a responsible reaction from all stakeholders in the community. This is our way of contributing to the efforts to overcome the challenges we all face together and of supporting doctors and medical workers, who have a very important role in these difficult circumstances and deserve our utmost respect”, said Christoph Schoefboeck, President of the Management Board of Erste Bank.
