As part of the 'Business Development and Innovation in Croatia' program, Ante Bakić, a DOK-ING Member of the Board responsible for R&D, was invited as a panellist to a prestigious Norwegian-Croatian conference on the topic 'Women in Business.' The conference was focused on women's career advancement in the high-tech industry. Mr Bakić shared insights into fostering inclusivity, particularly in leadership. His presentation inspired, showcasing dedication to supporting women in their professional growth.
Mr Ante Bakić, Member of the Board in DOK-ING highlighted the excellent collaboration with female leaders: 'Women contribute outstanding qualities such as high motivation, innovation, ethics, ambition, dedication, and adaptability. Women also demonstrate a pedantic approach to operational and strategic tasks, aiming to achieve optimal team results. At DOK-ING, we advocate for equal opportunities, disregarding gender barriers like the 'glass ceiling' or 'concrete wall'. We advocate for a culture of equal opportunities for career advancement, where competence and merit are the only criteria considered.” Mr Bakić also added: “Despite being historically male-dominated, we're witnessing a positive trend with more women entering STEM fields and technical faculties, and also showing their interest in joining DOK-ING.
