Romania is preparing for a rerun of its presidential election amidst economic difficulties and rising nationalist rhetoric. Serbia faces U.S. sanctions and widespread protests, symbolizing discontent with the ruling establishment. Ukraine, under the shadow of ongoing conflict, is hopeful for negotiations with the return of Donald Trump to the U.S. presidency. These developments suggest a turbulent year ahead, with economic issues and political instability taking centre stage.
