Great Jamnica redesign and the new environmentally friendly

Keeping up with sustainable business activity and packaging Jamnica plus, as a market leader, introduces packaging with reduced plastic grammage.

This is one of main goals in Jamnica’s sustainability strategy, which includes specific steps in the direction of caring for the environment, employees and the community where the company acts.

“Investment in the future and care for the environment are the biggest challenges today. Reduction of PET grammage in packaging represents a major turn in our business activity and means a specific step towards environmental care for future generations. Our strategic sustainability plan and the reduction of plastic are the main goals of Jamnica plus, who will reduce the amount of plastic this year for 390 tons, while in year 2022 a reduction of 850 tons is expected”, announced Dario Šalić, CEO at Jamnica plus.

In addition to plastic reduction, Jamnica made a major turn in its PET bottle and label design. “For the first time after year 2004 carbonated natural mineral water Jamnica arrives to market in completely new PET bottles and with a new visual identity, providing consumers with a new experience and consciousness of the importance of change that begins firstly with ourselves. By doing so we, as a brand and company, show that we are looking towards the future and that we care about the environment. Furthermore, the new design combines traditional elements, like the lady on the 1932 Jamnica bottle, with the contemporary elements focusing on authenticity and timelessness, providing customers with a brand that is verified and unchanged for 190 years”, concluded Darko Cesarec, Marketing Director of Beverage group division within Fortenova group.
