The coronavirus pandemic is a challenge not only for businesses but also for society in general. It has hit every industry, stopping the production and sales of cars. Although the production strips do not produce the Volkswagen Group's auto parts, factories and high tech auto industry have found application in the manufacture of medical and protective equipment, essential for the fight against the virus COVID-19. In addition to making production facilities and highly specialized know-how available to all markets, the solidarity of Volkswagen Group employees contributes to addressing the spread of this contagion. The international efforts of the Volkswagen Group were joined by Porsche Croatia with their donation to in the amount of HRK 300,000 to the Infectious Diseases Clinic, Dr. Fran Mihaljević, contributing to the prevention further spreading the infectious disease and saving lives.

On that occasion, a member of the Management Board, Ivo Ivancevic, stated: “We are all in an unprecedented situation and the only thing we can do is to help everyone in their own way to resolve this crisis as quickly as possible.
