The main focus was to present current and upcoming funding calls, as 2025 is set to be a record year in terms of available grants. Sandra Golob, Project Manager at Tiko Pro Croatia, opened the event and introduced the most significant funding opportunities:

• Product certification and implementation of management systems
• Energy and resource transition for businesses
• Internationalization support for SMEs
• Business digitalization and smart industry

Lana Labinjan, Project Manager at Tiko Pro Croatia, presented funding opportunities for innovative projects, emphasizing the importance of the Smart Specialization Strategy (S3). She highlighted the TRL scale as a key tool for assessing technological readiness and discussed funding opportunities such as Innovation Vouchers, R&D&I Calls, and Start-up Support Grants.

Karmen Španjol focused on investment incentives and HBOR loans for business modernization and sustainable tourism. Through concrete examples, she explained how entrepreneurs can benefit from tax reliefs, non-repayable grants, and financial instruments.

Finally, Matej Tisaj provided insights into international opportunities through Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, and the Innovation Fund, emphasizing that participating in EU projects not only provides financial benefits but also strengthens innovation capacities and fosters international collaboration.

The event highlighted the importance of strategic planning and timely access to funding information, while the interactive session allowed participants to gain valuable advice. Partnerships with organizations such as AmCham, the SLO–CRO Chamber of Commerce, Seyfor Croatia, and the Croatian Exporters Association further reinforced the significance of the event.
