This year, the conference brought together top national and international experts from the fields of medicine, tourism, marketing and destination branding – 13 experts from 7 different countries shared their knowledge and experience. Lectures and panels on the topic of trends and innovations in health tourism, live and online, were followed by more than 100 participants from all over the world.

The official opening of the conference was marked by a welcome speech from the director of the Crikvenica Tourist Board, Marijana Biondić, and the president of the Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster, Vladimir Mozetič, who proudly emphasized the continuity of this conference and emphasized its key role in the development and positioning of Croatia high on the map of health tourism.

Large attendance at the conference, enormous media interest, interesting lectures by domestic and international experts and current topics - all these are the reasons why CIHT once again confirmed its status as one of the largest and most important conferences on health tourism in the region. Many interesting and current topics were presented at this year's CIHT conference, organized by Crikvenica Tourist Board and Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster and co-organized by Thalassotherapy Crikvenica and Terme Selce.

For many years, CIHT, along with numerous partners and sponsors, has been supported by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, which this year confirmed its status as the most important conference of this type in the Republic of Croatia with an international character. The partners of the conference were the Croatian Tourist Board, Jadran-galenski laboratory, Kvarner Tourist Board, Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and the City of Crikvenica.

The organizers will soon start preparations for the 12th edition of the CIHT conference with new topics and interesting guests.
