AstraZeneca is Changing the Organizational Structure of the Central-Eastern Europe and Baltics Region

AstraZeneca is changing the organizational structure of the Central-Eastern Europe and Baltics region, and the cluster of Balkan countries is established: Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and West Balkans.

The cluster of Balkan countries, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia will be led by Dejan Lakovski who recently joined AstraZeneca with over 20 years of experience in the industry with an extensive background in successfully leading teams in both innovative and generic companies across Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo. The last nearly 7 years he lives and works in Bulgaria. By education Dejan is MD and MBA, graduated at the University in Skopje.

The team in the representative office in Croatia stays as it is, and Government Affairs and Market Access will continue to be led by support of Nikolina Škaron, Government Affairs and Market Access Manager.

Following planned organizational changes, Damir Nevjestić, Country Director of AstraZeneca Croatia is leaving the company.
