The panel titled 'Transformation of Entrepreneurship in Croatia – A Decade of EY Entrepreneur of the Year' featured prominent business speakers. Emil Tedeschi, CEO of Atlantic Grupa and chairman of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year jury, Jadranka Boban Pejić, founder and co-owner of Biovega, Alan Sumina, entrepreneur and the first Croatian EY Entrepreneur of the Year, Christoph Schoefboeck, CEO of Erste Bank, and Berislav Horvat, Country Managing Partner at EY Croatia, shared their experiences and insights on the development of entrepreneurship in Croatia.

The EY Entrepreneur of the Year program has been held in Croatia since 2014. Since then, 270 candidates have participated in the Croatian edition of the program, significantly contributing to the development of the entrepreneurial scene in the country with their innovations and business successes. The prestigious title of Croatian EY Entrepreneur of the Year has so far been awarded to Zoran Vučinić and Alan Sumina, the late Đuro Horvat, Marko Pipunić, Mate Rimac, Roberto Kutić, Silvio Kutić and Izabel Jelenić, Tomislav Dominiković, Hrvoje Josip Balen and Mislav Balković, Stiven Toš and Miljenko Borščak, Vjekoslav Majetić, and Ivo Usmiani.

This program recognizes and rewards entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exceptional vision, innovation, and leadership in their industries. Over the past ten years, the EY Entrepreneur of the Year has become synonymous with excellence in entrepreneurship, providing a platform for networking and knowledge exchange among entrepreneurs.

Applications for the jubilee 10th edition of the program are now open and will run until May 18, 2025. All interested entrepreneurs can apply through the official website eoy.ey.com. This year's edition of the program is expected to attract successful entrepreneurs who will continue to transform entrepreneurship in Croatia with their ideas and projects.
