Funded under the Digital Europe Programme, the CRACoWi project officially launched in September to simplify cybersecurity compliance for European businesses. Led by Tiko Pro in Communication, Dissemination, and Capacity Building, the project develops tools to help SMEs, manufacturers, and distributors comply with the EU’s Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and enhance Europe’s digital security.
Understanding the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)
The CRA sets mandatory cybersecurity standards for all digital products. It requires addressing vulnerabilities, providing updates, and enhancing consumer transparency. By unifying EU standards, it simplifies compliance and protects businesses, consumers, and infrastructure. Following its publication in the Official Journal of the EU on Nov 20, 2024, the CRA will enter into force on the twentieth day after its publication, ensuring a swift transition towards enhanced cybersecurity standards.
CRACoWi Wizard to Support SMEs in Meeting CRA Requirements
Navigating CRA requirements is challenging for SMEs with limited resources. CRACoWi addresses this with the Compliance Wizard, a digital tool offering step-by-step guidance and automating compliance assessments. It simplifies documentation, cybersecurity certification, and helps SMEs meet CRA obligations efficiently.
CRACoWi, funded under the Digital Europe Programme, unites 14 partners from Greece, Germany, Slovenia, and Cyprus.
